I didn't post for a while because I was busy working on a proper Save and Load system that is both Scaleable & Decoupled. A lot of friends have given me advice on how to improve it along the way and I am really grateful for that. I could not have done it without them!

The last couple of days, I have been hyper-focused on getting the save system set up for my project. In my last prototype that was the biggest roadblock I came across. Since that system was not set up for saving at ALL wahahaha.

Anywho, I have a nice system to save items now 🥳🎉

I also made a small stacker game where you stack hats on top of Doug Dimmadome, owner of the dimmsdale dimmadome. The main goal was to be able to push highscores to a leaderboard from here which also appear on my website. #GameDev

Tried making a somewhat satisfying main screen UI last month, definitely had too much fun with dotween and added some derpy sfx 😄 I am not 100% content with it, but it's good enough for now. #GameDev

Game Dev (ADHD) Productivity Pro Tip:

If YouTube often distracts you, try using a dedicated browser with the Unhook plugin. It removes unnecessary distractions, keeping your focus sharp and uninterrupted. I've shared my setup of the plugin down below with an example.
