Yes, I do agree, and I sometimes worry that dogs don’t have a right to informed consent when owners make decisions for them. For example, deciding that a their dog should be vegetarian, or making it wear clothes!

I get the sentiment, but surely such aggressive language is just part of the same problem - humans' inability to separate thoughts (that should guide communication) from our feelings. Praise to you for your positive intentions, but guilt-tripping is not a route to motivating change in others.
