I remember learning about the term "social murder" a few years back and thinking, wow, we've been trained to think of this shit as a normal fact of life and not a deliberate series of policy and structural decisions that end up killing our friends, families, neighbors, and selves.
The idea of “social murder” is super useful, and we need to get comfortable using it. Engels is the best, man - reading him feels like finally acknowledging the obvious reality everyone wants you to ignore
