Having used adjustable beds, they are amazing for chronic pain or limited mobility. But why, WHY does it need to be cloud-connected? There’s a remote. The remote makes the bed do the thing. We do not need to invite satellites to the party.

I likened appreciation of physical aesthetic to seeing the absolute perfect color palette that sparks a certain nonverbal joy. I can absolutely see that a person is aesthetically attractive, and appreciate it, but it doesn’t turn the key in the ignition. I guess that is threatening?

One of our first dates (once we established safety) was grocery shopping to make dinner together. I returned the cart. Came back to the car to see him nodding. “You passed the test,” he said, only half-joking.

Then you stuff your pot way too full and you can’t finish it in one go, but everything you’ve put in has made the broth AMAZING so you take it home which is good because now you’ve spent $55 on soup

I’m not a big believer in ghosts and think most things can be explained, just maybe not with information/technology we can currently access. But this spooked me bad. No visitors at this hour, and any other employees would have been wearing scrubs. Patients would be in gowns.

I was working overnight in an old hospital. Mostly empty. Heard footsteps in the hallway; peeked around the corner. Caught a glimpse of an old candy striper dress going through a doorway. Fun fact: this hospital hasn’t had candy stripers for decades. Especially not at 1am.
