Hurray! I've tried it on, and it fits, but it needs blocking. Now, on to the sleeves. #knitting #knitsky

Extra Lite Bright sweater progress. Last colour has been faded in, and I'm on to the hem. #knitting ##knitsky

Lite Bright sweater progress. Eight rounds to go in the bright green, before I start fading in the dark green, which is the final colour. #knitsky

My current WIP is the Extra Lite Bright sweater from Wool And Pine. I'm loving the yarn transitions so far. This is 4 shades of 4ply sock yarn. I have two more to go. #Knitsky #Knitting

#showmeyourknits this week is all things grey. I don't often knit with grey yarn, but here's a couple of sweaters I've knit in the past. #knitsky #knitting

Oooh, stash dive! Stash dive! The Nouveau Cardigan by Lucy Hague was published as part of Glasgow University Knits in 2022, but is now available as an individual pattern. It is 4ply, but I'm willing to try and make a DK version. #Knitsky #Knitting www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

🐑🐑🐑This has gone straight into my queue. The Sheep Sweater by Rosa Pomar. Bottom up and steeked. Fingering weight yarn. Sizes up to 61 inches. #Knitsky #Knitting www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Another one of my stash busting projects is the Sprig Slipover by Sarah Opie. It only has 18 projects on Ravelry and I don't know why. It looks amazing and it's only garter slip stitch. This is a perfect project for an ambitious beginner. #Knitsky www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

#showmeyourknits is WIPs this week. I'm currently stash busting some of my 4ply yarns. This is going to be a cardigan in plain grey. I've added colour to the sleeves, with some self striping sock yarn.

Incredibly, I managed to lose my old sock blockers (again). So, I bought some new ones. 😊 ##knitsky #knitting

This pattern is from way back in 2019, but I've never seen it before. Pirate Danger ☠️ socks by Jeannie Cartmel features tiny skull and crossbones motifs. Sock is knit toe up with a gusset and heel flap. I will be stash diving my box of socks yarns later. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... #Knitsky

I decided to cast on the Book Club sweater from Sari Nordland today. I tried a couple of different yarns from my stash, and this one looked the best. It's King Cole Fashion Aran in Forest. The sweater is knit top down from the back neck. ##knitsky #knitting

I was just getting into my #knitting stride this morning when one of these put in an appearance 😭

Saw this on Threads yesterday. Worth keeping a note of the URL I think.

My latest FO has stripes. 😊 #showmeyourknits

Long Stripes socks are new from Maria Sampo-Janhu and they're making my eyes go crossed, but they're still very cool! They must be super cosy too, as they're knit in a worsted weight yarn. Pattern is available on Ravelry. #Knitting #knitsky 🧶www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Well, hello there! Mary P Hunt has a new cowl design out. Guardian features an intricate design of intertwined #dragons, inspired by Celtic myth and the motifs of medieval decoration. Pattern is on Ravelry and there is a #crochet version as well. #Knitting #knitsky 🧶 www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Any knitting pattern by Unwind Knitwear. Her patterns are incredibly well written and detailed. Here's my Primavera, which I knit a few years ago

Asking people to pay a fair price for your labour is now 'gatekeeping hobbies behind a wallet'. WTAF? If you wouldn't walk into a LYS and steal a bunch of hand dyed yarns, because that's theft, don't steal f***ing patterns. #knitsky

This week's #showmeyourknits is #cables One of my favourite techniques. My latest FO is the Emily cardigan by Emile Greene, but two years ago I finished the Awen sweater from Meghan Babin. Emily is in Yarnsmiths Create Aran in Silver and the Awen is in King Cole Fashion Aran in Redcurrant. #knitting

I have the last few ends to weave in and the buttons to sew back on, but otherwise, my Crocodile Line cardigan is done! #knitting ##knitbsky 🥳🥳🥳

One pattern repeat and a cuff left to go, and it's off the needles! #knitting #knitbsky 🧶

I use a fidget popper as a row counter. It allows me to pre-pop the rows I need to do decreases or increases on. Here's mine, all set up for sleeve decreases. #knitting #knitbsky 🧶

I still have one sleeve to go on my current WIP, but I'm wondering what to cast on next. I'm giving serious thought to the Bergen cardigan by Evelyn Siatra. I'm just struggling to decide what yarn to do it in. #knitting #knitbsky #yarn

Sleeve number one done! The stitches for sleeve two are on the needles, so I am officially on the home stretch. #knitting #knitbsky 🧶
