It’s poppy season

Potted pine tree. Pretty old, probably at least 30 years. These pines are like family members to me, the bring such charter and expressiveness to the garden.

The last of the seasons roses until next spring. These translucent beauties make the act of perishing quite lovely.

5 permaculture troughs (12’ L x 4’ W x 2’ D) being readied for spring planting. Building up native sandy soil with rotting wood, cardboard, various manure/compost, greens, alfalfa pellets, seaweed, oak leaves…veggies and cut flowers.

Intro. Living large in a small house of 700sq ft. perfect for island living.
