@bsky.app Few of us can afford multiple subscriptions to obtain access to a broad range of facts/perspectives in current affairs. Want to see libraries, using taxes as a public free/affordable gateway step up w/stronger, more easily accessed presence. Cant think of a better use for our tax dollars.

Suggestions for ‘seasoning’ a new outdoor pond? No fish, just for frogs, salamanders, dragonflies, birds…. Quite large with a small trickle waterfall. 20 ft X 6 ft in zone 7-8. I will be planting heavily using plants as the bio-filter but prefer no duckweed or other invasive surface plants.

Trump and his bros-in-kind are men who won’t take no for an answer. Regardless of it’s a woman or a country. If he can’t convince you w/flowers and dinner he will force himself on you in the alley on the way to the car and say ‘well, I spent a lot of money on her tonight and she owes me…’.

@bsky.app …It is to ‘teach’ the less powerful that they are undeserving of these benefits and should be dependent on the capricious oligarch’s charity as to whether they deserve them or not. And that it can be taken away at whim if they dont behave.

What will massive unemployment with no social safety net do for the country? And the world at large. I guess protesting and civil disobedience will be the main job going forward. That and crime.
