Ralph Bakshi's second best film, and the one I most recommend to people in terms of just recommending great movies. It's like no other, even from the man himself. A tale of four generations and how music influenced their lives, both happy and tragic. Mostly tragic. It's very American in that regard.

Part guilty pleasure but also I do love how this mishmash turned out. A funny dub that cleverly rewrites the villain into having a motive and even erases a plot hole from the original.

And yes I pre-ordered the new Blu-ray coming out with a new dub!
