Since March 13, 2023, global sea surface temperatures have been setting daily records compared to the pre-2023 record high for each day, with the exception of 5 days in late December, 2024.

Wow—Global CO2 levels have increased by a full 1% (+4.3 ppm) in just one year! For perspective, we were at 400 in just late 2014… we gained +22ppm in 10 years 2014-2024, but added +4.3 in just one year! (Most of Earth for past 800k years, CO2 was just 200-300 ppm)
