Not sure why the entire situation couldn't have waited until after Ole Miss season was over. Johnny Majors did the same thing after winning the national championship with Pitt in 1976. Just dont publicly make anything known until then.

AI/ML is starting to do as good or better in hydrologic models as well. The biggest issue in the future is going to be mesoscale QPF errors. AI is still a ways out from predicting this.

Im sure the ultimate reason for the camp not to be in the 100 year flood plain was for insurance purposes and money. That said the owners knew they were very close to the flood plain and should've been prepared to take action during extreme rainfall such as this. Hopefully others will take heed.

Two days ago the Pakistani president was gushing over Trump. Well the cut in USAID stopped the flood modeling and forecasting project that was supposed to help that country prepare for flooding that it routinely experiences.

Did anyone posting actually watch his college debates or do they just read something and just post based off of that? He was very respectful in his debating and many of people's posts on him were words taken out of context.
