Red Kites moving north after coming out of roost, many thousands of Woodpigeons flying around in all directions.

Late morning flocks of 25 & 28 dark bellied Brents flew over SW,20 Pochards still.
Earlier at 09:55 two White tailed Eagles over Sharpthorne,then a Drake Goldeneye on Ardingly res was nice place an immature Goshawk.

White tailed Eagle showed well as did 2 Marsh Harriers.
Distant Whooper Swan,Glossy Ibis was much more showy and a Ruff spotted amongst 180+ Lapwings.
Thousands of Geese but no Ducks,similar at Henfield Levels this morning.

Really pleased with finding a Yellow browed Warbler this morning, calling in the NE boundary fence at Whillet’s.Unfortunately as soon as I’d located which small tree it was in it flew to larger trees called several times then vanished.

At 16:40 I spotted this Juvenile Honey Buzzard coming in low from the north being mobbed by corvids, it eventually made its way off ESE on its way to Africa.

Hard going in the breeze this afternoon but a Grasshopper warbler flushed up from beside the path, posing for a few seconds then diving deep inside a bush never to be seen again.
