This place calls itself "The premier life skills university," but everyone (>6 people) from my HS class who went here immediately moved back in with their parents and landed in the family company. Training for life skills specifically and uniquely means not having everything on a silver platter.

Similarly, Congress should meet in rooms much like the Swedish Parliament. Again, utilitarian, but not attempting grandeur.
Congressional offices should be designed to prevent the stupid office-space based politicking that occurs now. Everyone gets the same office design, except maybe the Speaker.
