I’m just this guy, you know? Pro-democracy, pro-peace, pro-people. 2 wheels > 4 wheels.
Who decided they needed to wash the tire wall, and why? And did they bother to consult with anyone regarding track safety?

He set the bar absurdly high by getting his first Moto3 win in his second race after starting from pit lane. He's very, very talented, but nothing since has equaled that.

Over-promise and under-deliver is Musk's MO.

For a minute there, it looked like Aleix was going to be in Q2, and I was thinking "someone needs to tell the Espargabros that test riders don't go straight to Q2."

Yeah, Sasaki appeared to be holding his right leg while lying on the ground for a while. But then he got up (or was helped up) and walked.

Well, breaking both legs would be worse, but breaking both arms is going to make life really difficult for a while (and I gather one requires surgery). Best wishes for a quick recovery.

I think that might be Resting Emmett Face. 😀. (I kid. Love you, Dave).

1. That legend saying "Drone attacks by year" really needs to be in a more legible color. I looked for a while trying to see what was being graphed.

2. As I've posted before, that Amazon registry doesn't work for people outside the UK. Is there a way to donate without involving Bezos?

But I guess if there's one thing conservatives are really good at, it's conformity.

I really can't understand the women all going under the knife/syringe for the same look. Or that anyone finds that look attractive.

An ego bigger than a small planet, coupled with a brain smaller than a walnut.
November 15, 2025 at 5:44 AM
LOL. Sounds about right.

Alternate take: "Look, Nicoló, I know you're frustrated staying at the back of the field. But please don't take risks that might end in a crash. We're already spending a fortune fixing Pecco's crashed bikes."

I'm 5' 11" (180 cm) tall. The hood (bonnet) of the current Chevrolet and GM heavy-duty pickups, un-lifted, is about at the level of my neck. They look more like locomotives than trucks. It's insane.

At the same time, driver training in the USA is a joke.

Good catch! Yeah, it does seem to be at the bottom of its travel. If I didn't know better (do I?), I'd think this was a photo of the bike Augusto was riding in previous appearances. If that's right, it's a bad sign. Unless the photographer just happened to catch it when they were testing that.

Who have already told their stories, but without seeing them in official writing, some people won't believe them.

Aprilia loves you.

Was Pedro sleeping? Or just trying the old schoolboy trick of "if the teacher can't see my face, maybe she won't call on me."

"Breaches of EU antitrust rules can cost companies fines of as much as 10% of their global annual sales." Yes, they might notice that.

But they have to give poor LeOpard a chance, don't they? 😀

It is pretty! Can you get live train info on a phone app? Not having access to it seems very 20th century. Or maybe 19th.

It's interesting that they have this mission to develop riders, and not just for Spain, but then have no presence to make use of them in the top class.

Triumph's twins in the 60s were barely different from Turner's 1930s design. Read Hopwood's "Whatever Happened to the British Motorcycle Industry?" if you haven't already. The Japanese bikes were the nails in an already-occupied coffin. 2/2

The British bike builders had sown the seeds of their own failure long before Honda's CB750 came along. They failed to invest in their factories, leading to worn equipment producing products with sloppy tolerances, and in new designs. 1/2

Yes, I should have said "forced their competitors to get better at it or fail."
November 12, 2025 at 5:45 PM
I'm old enough to remember when nearly everything coming out of Japan was cheap junk. And when everything coming out of Korea was cheap junk. And when everything coming out of China was cheap junk.

They all got better at it, eventually. And forced their competitors to get better at it, too.
