Today, one of the idols, making me study life sciences, passed away. My life brought me to plant diseases, but I am full of respect for the never-ending enthusiasm of Ms. Jane Goodall. I hope there will be many good documentaries coming up motivating the next generation to continue her work.

I am really happy that my colleague Dietmar took the time to write our efforts into a nice manuscript. Not the latest discoveries in science but a very good example of how scientific results are used in industrial science to develop an applied concept.
