Aw cmon - love for tQ always but what is this?

Theyre bangers, but if you’re going to publish a paean to millennials lost youth, call it that, you can’t stop dead at 2013 and say it’s 25 years!

Even if you ARE going for millennial Plastic Peopme faves, I have one word for you:

FOOTCRAB.
Writers Richard Akingbehin, Jaša Bužinel, Chal Ravens and Philip Sherburne join tQ's own Christian Eede to chart what they consider to be the defining club anthems of the century to this point

The 25 Best Dancefloor Bangers of the 21st Century So Far…

Had a gander at the curated photography folder and found some real bangers. this being from my Reshade abuse days when I was trying to mimic things like Fuji Velvia (and to a lesser extent, cross processed film) and its vibrant colors via filtering and aggressive tonemaps, fun times.

I have learnt of the passing of Quentin Willson, one of the presenters of classic pre-2002 Top Gear, an absolute tragedy given he was amongst the most charismatic TV presenters I've ever seen, and from what I've read, an equally good person.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD34... is one of my favorites.

In 2022 I sent a few emails to the @webdesignmuseum.org to interview them about the early web for a magazine project I had, I never published either the magazine nor the interview, I think it is appropriate that I do now.

I find it incredibly sad that a lot of modern zines just simply don't bother with the actual graphic part and essentially publish markdown formates text, there is a lot of interesting ideas in the world of layout that are not being tapped since the rise of the web and the zine becoming secondary

something i can't help but notice is how many older films, even the high budget not-for-art's-sake ones were so well shot. nowadays most you see just look really shitty beyond the flat color, they just are really badly shot.

anytime I get interested in music hardware I get an immense desire right up until I realize I am quite content with a little midi keyboard with 8 knobs, it's like I get hit with Anti-GAS measures

whilst I sometimes yearn for the physicality of old design (ie print defects, slightly wonky type, etc) I realize that I would not make it if I had to manually xerox things and scrub letters off of letraset sheets

new track, a rework of an about 8 (or so) month old track that remained in my mind seemingly non-stop, of a more Autechre-influenced past. soundcloud.com/wulfffo/part...

messed around in indesign and have immediately realized why cobbling together spreads by setting columns, text and margins on fake sketch for windows, all by hand, may have not been ideal
