:) it depends what I'm running; FitD often just needs a focused session of prep every few weeks then a half hour poking over notes fer zample. Wheras Fabula Ultima and Salvage Union are both benefitting from doing a bit of prep every day (a stat here, a location writeup there)

When I'm on a roll I'll prep a bunch and only use some of it because it's as much about thinking about the game as anything else. Confidence leaves room for improv or something.

I always overprep because, when my head is on right, prepping is half the fun of running a game.

13th Age. Climactic battle with a Death Knight. Downloaded all the voice lines for Arthas from heroes of the storm wiki. Uploaded them with descriptive names to Roll20 along with some ice dragon roars. Used them extensively during the fight. Took 3x as long to do as the fight lasted.

Regret nowt.
