Editing and sorting through the stories. At the beginning, N'amani tells the Ambassador he has hidden the wine bottles in the rice bins. At the end, Commander Brandon reveals she knew all along. Of course she did. She's HR. (back, second from right)

I think I got the covers done. I have to check again. It's to check and check. I couldn't do something simple. Nah. I'm happy with the way the images turned out - better and the same. I'll be oh so much happier when I have everything done and updated. I need another new to-do list now. And dinner?

Weekend editing challenge. 😀 I wasn't going to do this but the first book went pretty quick and, well, the character are nagging. So, copy edit the other seven books in the next four days? (ambitious? well...) Yes, I know. But I just might be able to do it. Time to find out. ⏭️

Read through the first 30 pages of Book 1. Three small edits and a comma. Little things that most won't notice, but I will.

The Night Watch was completed in 1642 at the peak of the Dutch Golden Age. It depicts the eponymous company moving out, led by Captain Frans Banninck Cocq (dressed in black, with a red sash) and his lieutenant, Willem van Ruytenburch (dressed in yellow, with a white sash). Behind them, the company's colors are carried by the ensign, Jan Visscher Cornelissen.
