Health care is a human right. ICE doesn’t belong in our hospitals. Jared Richardson, who represents WSNA nurses at St. Joe’s Tacoma, showed up today to protest ICE’s denial of healthcare to a detainee, which led to an emergency room visit with serious complications that could have been avoided.

PROUDLY “UNREASONABLE” - More than a thousand nurses and community members showed up Sept. 30 at the WSNA informational picket at Seattle Children’s. The hospital wants to eliminate long-held union protections and deny nurses what they need to provide safe, excellent care.
