I don't know what I'm going to post here but let's be real, it's going to be Formula 1, tabletop gaming and generic nerdery with a side of tired leftism.
It’s true, you can’t dry brush a space marine.

And why did I need to add a new m3 drive to my PC? Well, the time has come. Not quite willing to commit to ditching windows 100% just yet but it’s definitely time to test the waters with a dual boot.

'bro' the post is visible to us both.

Words Jess said: "Just so you know, this is how it always starts. With a marginalized group…"

Words you have imagined she said "and ALWAYS spreads to everyone else"

Please, feel free to search her entire feed for the word 'spreads'. Zero results.

Mick Fleetwood in Star Trek The Next Generation. He wore full face prosthetics and had no lines. There's no way you'd have known he was there if you didn't read the credits. He was just there for the love of the show.

ZX81. I was lucky enough to have the RAM expansion.

That massive, generously sized connector was too generously sized and the damn thing kept disconnecting. In the end I had to tape it into place.

(It was the size of a deck of cards and added a whopping 16kb of RAM. 16kb!)

Ed, how can you say there are no new gadgets and doodads?

They’re here. They’re not cellphones. They’re made from real oil from real snakes!

Presenting that paragraph as if you genuinely believe that paragraph is the bit I take issue with is utterly disingenuous.

This, on the other hand, is classic 'scare quotes' material.

Being queer-run does not absolve you of willful or negligent transphobia in your presentation of articles.

When two of the angriest factions in 40k face off even empty transports that serve no further purpose start fighting in Melee combat.

First game of 40k in a couple of years. Took a completely ridiculous Penitent Host list filled with Repentia and Arco Flagellants. Didn't lose as badly as I expected. Fun was had. Silliness ensued.

What perfect albums came out when you were 16?

This one is tough! My short list is 15 albums long!

I mean albums not making the final four include RATM’s Evil Empire, The Eels’ Beautiful Freak, Aphex Twin’s Richard D James album… it was a good year.

Playing Bloom & Rage

Four teenage girls thrown together through circumstance in the mid 90s in spooky Americana supernatural adventure from the makers of Life is Strange but with a camcorder instead of a polaroid.

Me: Nice!

It name checks Sleater Kinney before the opening credits.

And if you're wondering 'hey, terra, does that mean you can load one of your fancy schmancy studio photos onto the toy camera and print a lowfi receipt paper version of it?' then the answer is 'hell yes, buddy!'

As you can see the photo quality is in a word, terrible. About what you'd expect from a cheap kids' toy with a plastic lens.

The beauty is in the printer. It has a built in thermal printer, like the kind that prints receipts. And what you get is... beautiful. In its way.

This is my new camera. I have unironically fallen in love with it very quickly.

WWE 2k25 might have its issues but I do love that it's brought back intergender. Having these two as an actual tag-team in game for the first time? That's fun. Of course I suspect other than myself only @rustedwirewitch.bsky.social is likely to get the reference.

Unfortunately in the UK on Audible the series only has one book. And weirdly it’s the second one.

I suspect this is a complicated rights issue but hopefully it’s just a mistake that can be corrected.
