Neat little Premiere tip I discovered today if you're trying to track down duplicate clip instances in a sequence. Just add a clip marker (NOT a sequence marker) to the duplicate clip. When you deselect it the marker window will show you the timecode of all instances of that clip. #premiere #post
I really liked Alan Ritchson but his remarks about Trump are going to force me to watch everything he's ever done, and pay multiple times to do so in future. He's now on my 'instant watch' list.

Anyone on here successfully doing multi-editor offline on Resolve? Thinking of switching a TV team from Premiere and would welcome any experiences/pitfalls.

Does anybody out there in post bluesky know who cut this masterpiece? Ugh, I'm jealous and inspired at the same time..

I earnestly think that the Resolve team at Blackmagic Design are brilliant and have brought that software close to being best in class in a very short amount of time. That said, I think the AI Voice Cloning in version 20 is diabolical, dangerous and shouldn't have been released.

Upon reflection I think the best Superman movie ever made was the third trailer for 'Man Of Steel'. I have high hopes for James Gunn's verion 'tho.

Just really disappointed that the online editor on this Marvel movie is claiming that 'he can't just generatively extend the 6K IMAX shot by 14 frames'. Come on mate, just do your job... #worsteditorever

Genuinely haunting post about Gene Hackman's final days. Sometimes the Universe really is indifferent.

Sean Baker really letting the team down only winning Original Screenplay, Editing and Direction. There's a LOT of other jobs on a film set Sean.

The whole Amazon Bond fracas is hilarious. As if EON didn't pump out some low-effort piles of shite in their time at the helm. Give someone else a go.

White Lotus S1 Ep1. Cinematography to die for. Ben Kutchins must already be in the running for the Emmy. That shot of the water droplets on the lily pad. Gah!

The world is quite messed up at the moment - but if you just do this one thing you can start to push it back onto it's arc of justice:

Make the submasters now.

It is my yearly duty to remind all those who may have forgotten that the greatest Super Half Time performance of all time is and always will be the purple one himself, Prince.

The footage and news of the LA fires is terrifying. My thoughts are with any and all going through this. I hope you stay safe.

Boutique request - but does anybody have a lead on hiring an LTO tape drive in Dublin, Ireland this February? My Google-Fu has not helped me.
