Here for the music. Vinyl addict. Dad of two girls. Avoider of all things Elon Musk.
Nice that you are still enjoying this one. I was happy with the pressing. A very slight warp which I can live with but excellent sonically.

I know I’m getting old when my first thought was how far you are from the gents loo by standing there!

Yeah. Nothing beats Blood Orange imo.

I listened to not a lot else while on holiday in September. So it is destined to always take me back to that glorious week whenever I drop the needle!

I wouldn’t have discovered Jacob Alon by watching the Brits on ITV. For that reason alone, I’ll keep paying attention. But I admit, even as a SF fan, I felt uneasy seeing him winning “at home” last night. Mercury is a showcase of what I might have missed (despite best efforts). Who wins is irrelevant

Very ‘comforting’. That sounds like a lame adjective but it’s high praise! I’m now listening to Polica’s new one. Another band whose debut around that same time I loved and then I kind of forgot about them when life got in the way.

I enjoyed first play. Must admit I haven’t heard anything from them since My Head Is An Animal which I loved.

Arrived today. Huge dish warp but so far so good sonically. I have a guy who can fix warps and even incorporating that it’s a great value way to get this in the collection! Thank you so much for alerting me to it!

I got this. Pre-ordered it on aesthetic alone. Happy to report I love the music too!

I need to revisit this Aqualung album. I know I owned it at the time. I’ve really been enjoying going back to these 0004 debuts. So many great records and good times!
