This is what that outline looks like. I’m sure you’ll find it hard to believe I’ve never created an outline in my life. This is my sixth novel-length project, not to mention short stories (2pub’d) that I’ve pantsed.

I totally am. I start out pantser. Recently I did a huge plotting, but only after pantsing 20k words. And while I laid out the timeline carefully, I don’t have a full action detail or even a sense how many scenes will fill out each section, so I have pantser freedom within the plotted timeline.
