Going through Mom’s things (she died 9.5 years ago) and mostly tossing piles and piles of research that is useless to almost anyone else. A few, like this photocopy from one of her notebooks (which I may also come across) are worth pulling.

Recharge your writing batteries. Take time to rest and recharge between your writing. An author's mind needs time to percolate on a story to find the right angle to tell it. With this new rush of people I’m getting new followers - I have pulled back heavily from all socials since leaving that other place a year ago. So if I’m slow to follow back or don’t post a lot, that’s the reason.

Dedicating time to writing, focusing on relationships closer to home.

Got my copy of Alchemist of Monsters & Mayhem by Gigi Pandian @gigipandian.bsky.social — now I want to call in sick for the rest of the day and read.

Hey readers and writers - I’m looking for middle grade horror to help my kiddo stay engaged with reading. What books can you recommend? 😈🫣📚

A little intro to me. I’ve been wordsmithing since I learned to talk and writing since I first picked up a crayon. Recently, my unpublished novel was a finalist in the PNWA literary contest. Between that and 2 pub’d short stories I think I’m getting somewhere. Looking to meet writers and readers.
