BIG LIFE UPDATE:

I’ve decided to follow my dream and move to Antarctica to open the world’s first-ever Penguin Café.

It’s called “Waddle it Be?”

We specialize in ice-cold lattes, fish-shaped scones, and snowcones.

So, Waddle it Be? 🐧 ☕️ 🧊

Have you heard? There’s a new bill that makes it harder for millions of eligible Americans to vote. Join me and @standupamerica.bsky.social in urging Congress to vote NO on the SAVE Act: act.standupamerica.com/letters/no-o...

I’m in this process right now as well. That and asking ChatGPT ‘what if’ questions. I’m researching for what may become my first historical fiction. We’ll see.

As I’m sure many authors do, I get asked by aspiring writers how I got started. I often reply with this guest blog that I wrote about my journey www.rateyourstory.org/single-post/...
Turning Literary Lemons into Lemonade
Some children dream of becoming an astronaut, a world-famous singer, or perhaps a ninja/doctor (that last one was my son). My dream to become a prolific author began when I was 12 years old. I can rem...

This was totally me as a child—I read the dictionary and thesaurus for fun! My love for them has only grown, and I still enjoy discovering obscure words. Now, words randomly pop into my head at all hours, and one of those late-night visitors inspired the MC name in my book Ishkabibble Unafraid. ❤️

By Day 4 of #Storystorm, inspiration struck with a story idea that wouldn’t let go! Instead of simply adding it to my growing list, I found myself diving into research and racing to keep up with the muse. Sometimes, when an idea demands your attention, you just have to follow where it leads! 💡

According to Amazon Music, I’m in the top 7% of Bob Marley listeners—and I’m not surprised. His music has been my refuge on stressful days, a calming rhythm when anxiety runs high. Bob’s songs are always there, reminding me to take a breath and feel alright. 💜

About 24 hours ago, Glenn and I heard odd sounds, and suddenly a bird flew out of the kitchen! After many failed attempts to shoo it, we resumed today. Glenn guided it while I opened the door, and it flew out the moment it saw sunlight. I cheered as it left—it felt like a special visit from my dad.
