I got him at ~1 yo in college. He’s such a big part of our lives. He was a big softy and my best friend.
Today was the first time he visibly relaxed in months. Today went as well as it could have and it’s still so hard. I will miss him so much. I’m going to be not okay for a while.

Today was our last day with Phineas. He was almost 9 years old with hyperthyroidism + small cell lymphoma for the last year. We had a sort of make-a-wish day with his favorite things. He got a lot of love and more treats than I ever thought he could eat.
