The Popover API puts your UI on a separate top layer so you can stop fighting with focus management. Plus backdrop styling so short it fits here:
[popover]::backdrop {
background: rgb(52, 168, 83);
backdrop-filter: blur(3px);
}

What about the use of internal tables? Is it still just TYPE TABLE in #ABAP, and the table is fully defined? software-heroes.com/en/blog/abap...

@software-heroes.com I feel like the "seen by" counter is a bit better placed left/right to the other context of the post, maybe?

Or maybe somewhere in the bottom with the other context?

Just wanted to mention it because it feels a bit lost/out of place there. But, just my/an opinion, ofc. ^^

🆕 The URL Pattern API is Newly Available!

Use it to match and extract parts of URLs, no need to reinvent routing logic. Supports literals, wildcards, named groups, and even regex constraints.

I mean ... is it overkill? Sure. Did I learn something? Ya, sure.

Win/Win

Also: hope they add/fix that soon.

Have just been told that I need another surgery on my right wrist. My third one then! Somewhere around the start of next year.

Maybe this time it'll actually help (?).

Follow to find out!

Great to see that under some interesting SAP community posts Marian is already asking the questions that need answering. 😂

is it just me? I see a lot of good content and opinions mostly on LinkedIn after #SAPTechEd. Does the comeback of TechEd in-person to lead to better and needed discussions about technology? IMO yes and I love it. Good old community vibes ;-)

Haven't seen that in a while so I'm wondering ...

Is the cache buster mechanism as it were back then, still used? It _does_ say it's supported in BTP and I do remember a UI5ers live not too long ago where it was talked about as well.

When you email issues to Obsidian Entertainment (the video game company) their AI support hallucinates and tells you to email Obsidian (the note-taking company) instead.

If the reward function is to reduce the number of touches in a support ticket, this is one way to do it.

At times enterprise is ... funny.

The amount of bureaucracy needed and people involved in a say ~2 line bug fix exceeds anything I'd consider reasonable. You'd think that it results in better maintainability but people skip steps wherever possible cuz these processes end being so tedious ...
