46yo pain chronic and "cat lady" - but with dogs!

It's so insane thinking of the jan sixers storming congress while yelling "Freedom!!!!!"
That's the one thing republicans claim they want more than anything else. And still, not a peep when elections are being openly bought? I'm just so happy Musk is at least open about it.

And all the diplomatic relationships as well. Denmark has always stood with the US and answered every call for help and soldiers. Now, we're also quietly boykotting US products while our hearts weep for the Americans who'll suffer for this - but it's our only way of saying we're not OK with Trump!

Just went to the auto guy, 15 minutes late, dachshund puppy in hand. "Sorry, we're late, we had a puppy freak out that needed to be done first!". Hundini was busy tearing the house apart with his older sister so I had to wait!

Well, she's a cheat! Came home 20 minutes later in a "loaner" and Hundini and I walked in unnoticed and found the older dogs in front of the fireplace, calm as can be!
Making me feel better about leaving them, gotta say.

I'm sitting here on a livable disability retirement in Denmark, eating my pain meds and while worrying over the rise of prices I just keep saying "thanks, destiny, for at least not making me a disabled pain chronic in the US!!!".

This Dane is longing for the time when we were at war with Canada over Hans Island. Lasting 41 years, the only casualties were numerous bottles of spirits left for the enemy with every flag planting on the island.

Plenty of reason to be! Firefighters are a special breed, truly. I still remember how many nations ended up in Australia trying to help fighting the fires there during that awful time! Even firefighters from Denmark flew across the globe like many, many other nationalities!

A good nap takes priority! Same with food! When naps and food is done, THEN you can be scared of things!
