Hand-wringing, bleeding heart liberal. Transport, urbanism and fairness nerd. Also maps and marmalade.
Napier, Aotearoa.
Pretty much following anyone I'm recognising from the old place.
And yet the IDF still shoot. Knowing they will kill innocents. Are you saying it's okay for a child to die because a terrorist was standing behind them?

The thousands of innocent Palestinians who have died yes. The thousands of innocent Israelis who have died, Hamas fault. But Isreal is doing the damage right now, and could stop right now, but they are choosing not to.

How are they supposed to stop armed terrorists?
The IDF knows they are hiding behind children, and yet still they shoot.

I honestly thought that was satire for a moment.

Gorgeous, and pretty representative of the inside of my head (minus the balls).

Great little bookshops they have. Gareth's books are a fun read too.

It would be interesting to test some assumptions and demonstrate that the fella in the brand new Range Rover is contributing less the society than a PAYE teacher (as an example).
I'd also love to be proven wrong.

Banana for brains.

Bullies like him don't let facts get in the way of an opportunity to swing their peckers.

I pay your wages so you have to listen to me.
As a public servants I hear this all the time. I politely remind them I serve the whole community and how that approach works out with the Police.
He sounds dangerous, a bully who thinks he's the victim.

I only use the app on Android, but yes, refreshing can be a bit...laggy.

Fancy giving the WEF so much space in their heads.
They say they have heard from LGNZ that it's here, then say they can't find any reference to it anywhere. Would that not give you half a clue that maybe it's not the new law?
I should have stayed away from pn15.nz

Nah, we'll all be too distracted wondering what to spend our ghost $250 on.
October 19, 2023 at 5:27 AM
Inversely I hope!
How about each Nat MP loses a house for every ram raid that happens?
October 19, 2023 at 3:21 AM
The whole of Hawkes Bay will take a day off work to celebrate!
Have a lovely birthday. X

Sadly life has to get a lot worse for people to see the impacts, and I don't want that to happen.
Hopefully I'm wrong and very wealthy landlords will pass their savings on to tenants and instead of buying a new Range Rover, business owners will pay their staff more.

Can't wait to see the answer though. Steel bollards on every street corner?
October 14, 2023 at 11:39 PM
At least Bishop will have to back his bullshit up for the next 3 years.
October 14, 2023 at 10:53 PM
Oh, thanks dude, remind a Welshman about the rugby thing.
October 14, 2023 at 10:35 PM
Yup, they voted against feeling how they do now. Don't look out the window and see most of the world is suffering inflation and cost of living crises, so blame whoever is in charge.
October 14, 2023 at 10:31 PM
Got to remember that there are only a small proportion of people who even have the slightest interest in politics. The personalities and slogans work on them. The majority won't have looked into Nats tax cuts, they'll all be expecting to be $250 a fortnight better off by Christmas.
