There is a brilliant song called “I wanna drive a Zamboni” by The Gear Daddies. It was featured in Mystery, Alaska when Hank Azaria’s Character steals a Zamboni drunk. It’s so good, and a noble goal.

I love it. I still play it on DOSBox once in a while. I bought it for $10 at a Farm Supply Store in 1994. Such a pain in the ass to install off of 10 floppies and have to custom configure the config.sys to use the right kind of memory but it was worth it.

Darklands and Left 4 Dead / L4D2 are the only two that I could possible even come close to that number.

@neilnewbon.bsky.social should take a look at your cosplay.

That is brilliant. 10/10.

I think the thing is 99% of the world is not adventurers. Similar to how I wouldn’t expect to see the artworks of our world be reflective of the text of an electronics repair or military combat manual. Sure some pieces might show things related to those topics, but the vast majority isn’t.

I feel like once a game is upsetting you this much it stops being fun. I enjoy #DND but there are so many activities you can do to enjoy time with your friends if it stresses you so much.

Right? So may artists stylistically create things that aren’t anatomically correct. Wildly irrelevant to the argument. Who cares if the Simpson only have 4 fingers. Still cooler than some averaged out computer nonsense.

That’s wild. I dealt with it and I didn’t even live in the Bible Belt. When I was in my last year of high school I wrote an 8-page research paper on it. Some of the path of how we got there was wild.

Your art style is amazing. I love the aesthetic so much. Do you do commissions?

I feel like it brought more creativity than I have seen from a lot of other modules. I’m not normally a huge fan of prebuilt modules, but I have been trying more of them the last few years because of my lack of prep time.

In theory you can run the whole thing without combat. I ran it for a middle school dnd club and for the first like 5 chapters the only combats were extra things I added in between chapters.

I love Witchlight. It is one of my favorite new campaigns. Not flawless, but definitely one of the most fun.

So incredible. I love it so much.

I love this take. I would argue that might be more than 50% of the parties I’ve played with.

Definitely seems like it. 10/10 no notes. All posts were solid gold. Enjoyed way too much of the timeline and sent a few to my wife. 😍

This really rabbitholed me for like a half hour. I think I just ordered ten books and fell in love via Bluesky. 10/10.

While it isn’t my thing, I am very jealous of your drawing skills! I do not have that kind of talent.

Also in a related note to your post. I have never read Romantasy, but I have started to be drawn in by a few at the store. Do they often have things that would be good inspiration for D&D Campaigns? I am always looking for new inspiration, and they are very popular right now. Any recommendations?
