I spent the morning playing FF7: Rebirth, and made some really good progress! Now, I have to settle in and finish up some session notes for the D&D game we’re having tonight.

The party is headed into a dense forest to hunt a troll, and are about to encounter a Gorgon’s den along the way. 🐂 🪨

SOO... I've suddenly got a proper budget to hire an illustrator for an upcoming TTRPG project I'm doing. Can't give much detail, except that I'm looking for artists who do either fantasy or western stuff (or both).

If that's you, comment below or DM me with your rates and a link to your portfolio!

For 2025:

-buy an indie game
-give it a review if you liked it
-share/post the game

Boom! You've helped an art form survive.

I'm probably dropping using OSR/NSR etc tags from now. I prefer just saying what the game is about rather than giving it a label

Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come.

‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair.

Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.

Question for #D&D content creators - for pdfs, is it best to sell on DMs Guild, Drive through RPG, Ko-fi, or a combination of the 3?

I am working on a PDF that is very personal to me that I want other DMs to use and want to be successful at it.

Thanks!

A TTRPG designer should not shy away from being an asynchronous collaborator with the people playing their game!
