We are a meme state. The network has renewed an ill-conceived, poorly-written, badly-cast reality show that should have been killed after the pilot.
A prize should be awarded to the first journalist who asks Tr***p either, “Why are you lying again?” or “Why are you such a dick?”

Exactly this
Bill Kristol understands the demands of this moment better than most of the Senate Democrats
"The job of the Democratic party comes in two parts. First: Do not help Republicans. Not in any way. Second: Make Donald Trump own every bad outcome that happens, anywhere in the world..."

Proud of and happy for my colleagues north on Broad Street. If you can join a union, please consider doing so. Workers are far stronger when united.

I deleted my instagram account yesterday. Will one account matter to Meta? No. But protest is still one that remains within my control.
In case you're curious, this is the internal Meta "fuck DEI" announcement received by Meta employees

This thread is a refreshingly complete explanation of Meta and the Biden administration and the 1st Amendment.

But what's really significant is that it's a thread on Bluesky. It is not an article in the Times or the Post or any other "major" newspaper, which have failed us so completely.
I really, really don't want to do this, but let's do a bit (just a LITTLE BIT) of fact checking about what Zuck said on the Joe Rogan podcast, because this is something I not only followed closely, but also spent time *talking to the actual people at Meta who dealt with this* which WAS NOT ZUCK.

The American economy just added 256,000 jobs in December, and unemployment fell to 4.1%. Trump is inheriting one of the strongest economies for an incoming President in generations. And despite destroying our economy in his first term, Trump will try to take the credit for this boom. Don't let him.

He is, indeed, poison. Rat poison.
BREAKING: Starmer attacks Far Right & Elon Musk.

In a pointed comment on Musk, the PM calls out those “so desperate for attention, they’re prepared to debase themselves & their country.”

“When the poison of the Far Right leads to threats…a line has been crossed.”

Strong, necessary stuff.

Jan 6th was a violent attack on our country, not a “day of love.” The truth is well documented, witnessed by dozens of GOP officials, it’s up to us to defend it against the relentless lies. My latest:

I might add a 4th rat: lies. But these are the enemies we need to be wary of.

I am enraged by the media, doctors, and politicians who are sane washing RFK Jr and claiming some common ground. Common ground only exists when there are genuinely good intentions, but anti science grifters are not presenting good faith arguments. There is no common ground, only a slippery slope.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Democracy Dies in Darkness was meant to be a cautionary statement, not an instructional one. This is chilling. And we are in for a very long and dangerous 4 years. If we’re lucky.
