Today, I fully completed (as far as I could) Jetpack Joyride. It was always a desire of mine to buy everything, and I also got all the achievements and all 125 prestige badges.
It’s a fun arcadey mobile game, but they REALLY bloated it with ad spam.
Also, near missing lasers is awful.

Finally finished Pokemon Violet (or at least the main game) after getting it for LAST Christmas.
Playing it on Switch 2 is a massive game changer, almost literally. The game ran so much better and it holds up super well.
And I love the friend group, they’re great.
Also, Shiny Charm was so good.

Yesterday, I watched The Day The Earth Blew Up.
Fun Looney Tunes movie. Had some great comedy, was a fun throwback to B horror movies, the animation was great, and it’s arguably my favorite incarnation of Daffy. He’s got all the charm of Screwball Daffy while managing to be a good friend to Porky.

Also finished Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. One of the easiest Ace Attorney games (I could count on maybe 2 hands the number of times I just had to throw evidence at s testimony to see what stuck), but the investigating and logic are real fun and it has a great story.

I beat Windswept today. This is an amazing Indie DKC-like. Very difficult, but mostly super fun. And it’s cute as a button, to boot.
Absolutely been an amazing time to be a Donkey Kong fan.

Speaking of 4s, I replayed Pikmin 4 to try New Game Plus. Not as drastic a change as I would’ve hoped, but still a fun way to play the game in a different fashion.

A two for one special of Crash game clears- the other day, I had the urge to replay Crash Team Racing, and it’s still a real good kart racer alternative to the other ones.
Then I replayed Crash 4 to see how many levels in I’d get before missing boxes and just play to the end.
It was 4, by the way.

The other day, I finished the Pac-Man World 2 Sonic DLC. It’s a fun set of levels and a better boss than the end game bosses, but it’s still pretty unnecessarily dragged out.
But the second level’s music is great, in particular.

Today, I finished the Donkey Kong Bananza Emerald Rush DLC 100 percent.
It’s a super fun Roguelite mode, that really changes how you play the game. It’s just super fun to rush around every level, increasing your multiplier and getting tons of emerald.
Eat your heart out, Luigi’s Balloon World.
