Also home to the Atlanta Apollos (1973) & the Beat (2001).The 1st soccer game of record at the stadium (then known as Grant Field) was between amateur sides representing Atlanta (w/ a no. of GA Tech students) & Lithonia on Feb. 4, 1922. I wrote about it here:

Published in the Atlanta Journal #OTD in 1911 - plans for an intrasquad “soccor” scrimmage at Marist College. Among the players was Charles “Wahoo” Guyon, who attended the infamous Carlisle Indian Industrial School and later worked as a sales mgr for the A.G. Spalding & Bros Atlanta store.
