Takeaways this time:
- there were a lot more drives all round this week. Not sure whether last week was first week nerves?
- Giants @ Dallas, wow. Obviously.
- the Lions didn't just put the Bears to the sword, they also used a lot of plays to do it.
- Browns @ Ravens was a real game of two halves.

Go Titans! (I don’t have a team myself but I did see them against the Ravens in London a couple of years ago). I’m hoping Cam Ward can bring a bit of pizzazz back for you after your recent slide!

Couple of things that stood out to me:

- Titans @ Broncos looks really broken up

- Dolphins @ Colts by contrast is really simple (makes sense with Dan Jones’ record setting feats)

- Didn’t realise the Bills had missed so many 2pt attempts! Makes it feel less close somehow

Link here if you want to download the workbook for anything. There's no interactivity going on though.

It’s always surprising how different a team can be in preseason compared to the regular season. So many things kept under hats for the competitive games I suppose

So cool!

If a team has high xG but low goals, is that more likely to be from saves/blocks or missing the goal entirely? I’m thinking about the size of hockey goals compared to football goals, but I haven’t watched very much hockey to know

Thanks Rudy!

Yeah me too. I assume that they didn’t have much confidence in the run against the eagles massive D line but it made it easier for the eagles to defend knowing it was likely to come through the air.

That was the moment I thought it was over too - they had Mahomes’ number!

Absolutely brutal. I made a drive chart visualisation for it and it doesn’t pull any punches!
