Anyway, as I worked in textiles for 20yrs, it is obvs my specialism. Unexpectedly, I am teaching just that. (Helping out another dept next year, but that's a long story). I was set up in a defunct food room, & we have been sewing around cookers & taken doors off to sit with our feet in cupboards:

Anyway, after a long, long time of wishing, I woke up one day and said "fuck it" and on Thursday took a delivery of a new bike.
We've been out for a blast this morning, I know by my husbands super sports bike standards, it was a little pootle, but fuck me, she is GLORIOUS

I started the school year with about 250 tiny ducks in a glass jar.
I reward good behaviour or work, or general good nature. The kids bloody love them, I get reminded to do a "duck draw" for good work.
Today, I gave the last one out.
I'm thinking, tiny turtles next...
