I've been focusing on tackling my mending pile. But I got fed up sewing bits on preexisting items and decided to sew something from scratch. This is #cottonscrunchie with #naturalrubber #elastic 😁 The elastic came from #jamestailoring

23.5 squares left #knitting 🧶 #sweetshopblanket by #laurapenrose made with WYS colour lab DK latte as the main colour and 20g miniskeins I created from stash for the contrast colours. Each miniskein creates two half square triangles. Some I paired with some scrap mohair to create more variety

This week's #showmeyourknits is purple! 💜 I had to dig around a bit for this one, until I remembered I finished a WIP 🛠️ started by Mum 💐 She knit the body, I knit the yoke. She picked the georgous Claret wine 🍷 purple 💜 colour🌈

This week's #showmeyourknits is cardigans! This is the Flora MacDonald by Sarah Dallas. I modified the neck to make it narrower and lengthened the body so it isn't cropped on me 🧶

I have cut hexagons. My quilt will be a lovely bright and vivid yellow 💛 but I'm cutting up my scraps to begin with. I have loads of old failed sewing projects that I want to make into something nice. So they'll be hints of other colours scattered about. Also it won't all be pastels 😁🪡
