Excellent statement given by Dave Pearson of @northantsgreens.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gy before the meeting was suspended.
We are very disappointed at the decision of West Northamptonshire Council to scrap its Net Zero targets. We welcome the council’s positive stance on some environmental issues such as home energy & nature recovery, but removing clear targets ducks their responsibilities to local residents.
