I find it hilarious that all the Notre Dame haters feel the need to pan the Irish decision to not play in a bowl game. If you don't like them, why are you bitching about them not playing in a meaningless bowl game?

ESPN runs the college football playoffs and has been lobbying for weeks for Alabama and Miami over Notre Dame. So it comes as no surprise that is the way it played out. Notre Dame would wipe the field with Bama but they tied their star to the wrong TV network. #CFP

An important part of the job for any WH Press Secretary is to clean up remarks made by the president or offer explanation/context or apology when warranted. But Leavitt never does that. She always crafts a response that makes it even worse by adding her own toxic twist.
