If you can support today, the disability community of Chicago will be rallying this morning at the RTA Board meeting to defend the Rideshare Access Program and Taxi Access Program from changes that will take away our independence. Disabled people, seniors, & veterans must have access to community.

There is a genuine fear, rightly so, if tax benefits of charity were reduced or taken away that charitable giving would evaporate. We continue to enable the outsourcing of policy decisions to the rich rather than tax them & make those decisions democratically and deliberatively. That needs to stop.

Just in case you're afraid I have no joy in life (or am just a total killjoy... which, fair at times 😆), meet Coco, my goblin furbaby who loves everyone & will jump on you to show it with nibbles & kisses, tears apart pillows, destroys toys, loves cheese & peanuts (esp PB), & is a champion cuddler.
