Canada's Brooke Henderson is the most consistent LPGA
player of this century ... 10 straight seasons ranked #15 or higher

The model girl next door nice Canadian just keeps rolling.

Remember former Commish Mike Whan say if he had 10 Brookes he'd rule the sports world ... the Caitlin Clark effect :)

Another poor performance by USA golfers this week on LPGA . Only 1 made the top 10 (11 golfers) !

All the 2024 unexpected retirements and veterans losing their cards have decimated USA . With Nelly only playing half the events this will make sponsors and fans uninterested.

Current 2025 RACE TO CME / LPGA standings feature only 3 of the top 11 from USA (all 3 are 1st generation immigrants) the rest are all Asians. So many traditional USA women retired after 2024.

Will sponsors and fans care?

How embarrassing was Golf Channel's Alison Whitaker interviewing LPGA R2 Blue Bay leader Nasa Hataoka. Asked her to hop 3 times like a trained monkey same as men used to ask women to twirl for the camera! Asked which young Japanese rookie she likes lol wouldn't ask a USA / UK golfer that! #womensday

18, 16, 19, 17 : the # of Rolex tournaments that Nelly Korda played the past 4 years. The Olympics, the 5 majors, and less than half of the LPGA schedule. What other sport or golf tour would tolerate that? White USA women dislike the current LPGA set up and are retiring in droves. Fix the schedule.

Fantastic R4 today! The Asian heritage domination continues on LPGA. A few years ago when most of the foreigners stayed home the traditional white USA women dominated but today only 7 played! Nelly doesn't play much :(
T11 Kupcho
T33 O'Toole
T50 Coughlin
60 Schmelzel
T61 Pano
T67 Altomare
69 Tardy

Looks like Golf Digest ended the LPGA contract for Kent Paisley. They haven't published a womens' golf story in months. Only Lydia Ko's Vogue magazine cover shoot, written by a veteran employee.

After the JTBC fiasco is this another nail in LPGA's downfall? USA media prefer other women's sports.

LPGA says "A generational run".
Too bad Jeeno got injured at Christmas playing the Indonesian tournament on the rejuvenated Asian tour. She couldn't start 2024 until week 16 then outplayed Nelly the rest of the year; poor Nelly even missed 3 cuts in a row. No wonder Nelly doesn't play much any more.

Over 5 years ago the LPGA tried to takeover the LET but instead settled for a 5 year joint venture. www.sportspro.com/news/ladies-...

LPGA twice tried to takeover but LET players voted no. Last year Saudis said no. golfweek.usatoday.com/story/sports...

Now it's expired & deleted from LET website!

For 2025 LPGA has a new category 13 allowing one amateur golfer to join mid-season as a full member - bypassing Q school.

LPGA is desperate for WAGR #1 Lottie Woad of England to join! Lottie won the Augusta tourney, came 2nd at NCAA, defeated USA in Curtis Cup,

Team Somi Lee wins the team portion and $500,000 of the $5million European Tour event. This is the first tourney that all 4 team members are pros; I hope that continues.
February 14, 2025 at 5:05 PM
Sadly LPGA has limited the field this week to 120 players, so not all those who qualified at Q school can play. Also none made it from LPGA'S new category of players who 'almost made it' from 2024.

Alot of overseas stars skip this week as it's too far to come for 1 tourney. They wait for Thailand.

Sad how scared the @LPGA is of Koreans! Every question & article is about Nelly, about whom we know everything: her dog her travels home to Czechia her modeling etc. Also article on Minjee's new clubs, caddie, early season start - yet we learn nothing about A Lim Kim as a person. Feeding stereotypes

I feel bad for all 32 LPGAers forced to play with 61 bad golfers. Imagine being Brooke Henderson trying to win and 2 days running paired with a guy who paid to be there playing bogey golf. Angel Yin paired with 2 Hilton staff (Mike used run the tournament). Worse for the pros playing bad

The 61 "non-LPGA players" have 2 separate leaderboards for the 51 celebrities and 10 ams that paid to play including the kid Annika spot. 108 points = par so Asterix and Joe at -1 would be bottom half of LPGA leaderboard, and the other 59 would be all down in last place.

So stupid to mix pairings.

Huge US$5 million LET womens tourney 13-15 February. Dozens of LPGA stars expected as LPGA has cleared their schedule that week.

Korean Tour final fun event. Top 24 golfers play day 1 match play then 12 winners day 2 stroke play. Winner gets paid in crypto currency worth US$250,000. Last year's winner waited out the crypto market and doubled her money.

Also each golfer got an NFT of themselves tradeable on the NFT market.

Wake Forest and Curtis Cup star Mimi Rhodes, who just missed at LPGA Q school, will play LET instead of Epson Tour in 2025. Many choosing this route for 2025. LET getting stronger with increased tourneys & sponsorship.
December 26, 2024 at 11:05 AM
Only 2 of the 9 USA golfers trying out for LET made the Q school cut today. Final round of 5 is tomorrow.

Leading are veterans Darquea & Mack who lost their LPGA cards this year, reverting to part time status. LET has become a popular alternative to Epson Tour since Linn Grant got on LPGA that way.
December 19, 2024 at 8:24 PM
I'm following the LET stage 1 Q school in Morroco that ends Thursday. 248 competitors including about 20 from USA-Canada who failed to qualify for Epson Tour.

The top 93 join 63 others at final stage 2 Monday. There are 12 spots held for USA-Canada players I expect Maria Fassi & others will come.
December 12, 2024 at 11:11 AM
250 golfers today begin the 3 day stage 1 Q-School for LET.

16-20 December is the Final Qualifying stage. Several LPGA players are again expected, following Linn Grant's loophole exploitation to retain LPGA membership without any USA events

Last year, Nataliya Guseva succeeded at both Q schools.
December 10, 2024 at 9:01 AM
Rain and lightning have postponed the final day of LPGA Q school. Same terrible weather forecast for tomorrow!

Fyi of the top 9 so far, 7 are top multi-winning pros from the Japan, Korea and European tours. Winning gets tougher every year.
December 10, 2024 at 12:21 AM
Korean LPGA is tough to make! Only their top 60 keep their cards vs 100 on USA LPGA.

Korea lets more move up from their 2nd tier tour, 20 vs 10 (*11-15 don't count as they only get 5 tournaments and must play tier 2 again) in USA.
