I think the issue is Kirkman is maybe the most successful writer in the past 25 years to rope in normies into comics, which means Invincible fans encompass exactly like the best and worst of any normal fandom. Its like DBZ or Naruto that way

The ONLY way this makes sense to me is if they're looking to do a Knightfall where they're critiquing the trend, but I don't have enough confidence in the Spider-Man editorial to be those guys.
