I'll never forgive the Bendis X-Men run for getting all my favorite artists and putting them on the side of the X-Men Schism I wasn't on (Logan was Right). That's just bullying. They got BACHALO and ANKA and IMMONEN and we lost Bachalo and got Bradshaw instead (Still good, just NOT the other 3)

#xspoilers the failure of the Revolutionary Scott era IMO is that the writer, Bendis, took Gillen’s momentum, premised his whole run on the idea of radical Scott, only to give up on the plot halfway through the Matthew Malloy arc and make it textual it was all just a nervous breakdown.

I've been an online Spider-Man fan since the JMS run, and I'm telling you since at least 2006 the Spider-Man fans have been perennially mad. I'm primarily an X-MAN GUY, famously amongst the most difficult to please fanbases ever, and we've still been a happier bunch than the Spidey fans

When you’re a real connoisseur of an artistic medium and you GET it at that elite level and are in conversation with others at that level, sometimes we forget that IT’S OKAY to like the popular stuff. Some of that popular stuff is good too! Like, as a musician, Espresso is just a damn good song!

I love my western comics but genuinely I can think of only 3-5 cape comics even in the same league quality wise as One Piece week over week. We do not appreciate that a Kirby-Tezuka level genius is putting out 30-40 comics a YEAR that are amongst the best ever written #onepiece #comicbooks

Very minor flex, but as I’m working through every Marvel comic ever published, I’m working on a revision to the sliding timescale to see how much time has passed since FF 1, and this issue takes place at the tail end of my tentative year 4, and if Peter starts out at 15-16, looks like I’m on track!
