The name of the work is “loving tides sweep you in and bear you down” by BladesTemperance. Summary: When life gives you the opportunity to learn, take it. When life gives you the call to adventure, take it. And when life gives you a merman on the docks of your seaside town, you do your damnedest to help him. Notes: Hey y'all, happy Wolmeric Week Day 3: Alternate Universe! (I say this as if I'm not posting this like a few days late but lol.) I originally planned on writing a Xenoblade Chronicles AU fic with Alys and Aymeric as Shalvis (part of their ship inspo), but my brain was so Xenoblade Chronicles X focused that I doubt it would've been cohesive in plot. However, tis the season to write and/or draw mermaids, so I figured I'd write a fic oriented around Mermay! I hope you enjoy my work!
