By helping control deer numbers + behaviour, thus allowing forests to return, bringing wolves back to Scotland could sequester up to 1 million tons of carbon dioxide per year, new study finds.

Rewilding is a key weapon against both ecological + climate breakdown.

New research found that reintroducing wolves would help encourage the growth of native woods and sequester planet-warming pollution.

The illegal killing of the Metolius wolf father in Oregon may condemn the pups to starvation.

Killing federally protected wolves, esp. pack leaders/experienced hunters, has no justification. It can *create* not resolve conflicts with livestock - easier prey for desperate pups.

The biggest of those corporations is Cal-Maine, which just announced quarterly profits of $509 million — more than 3x what it made a year ago.
