Firestrike Servi Turrets have the Vehicle trait which means if you really want to, you can charge and Tank Shock with them. I picture this being accomplished by the Marine manning the turret picking it up and throwing it at the enemy.

Anyway, here's a Reiver done solely using AK markers, save for his pouches (the Red Brown topped with Hive Dweller Purple Speed Paint.) You won't win any Golden Demons using these, but for finishing an army the night before a tournament or some grunts while on vacation, they're great.

This is not from the set but is by AK and is the worst offender. This marker is NOT the deep maroon pictured on its label but a light ruddy brown that is good as a basecoat for leather. But not for the Crimson Fist gauntlets like I wanted. I had to go buy my usual red for that as I didn't bring it.

My biggest complaint is that the color of the paint does not match the the label. The Ultramarine is, in fact, ultramarine. But the deep navy blue on the label wouldn't tell you that. The red also came out more pink than I expected. But when applied over a darker surface, that calms it to red. 3/

On a weekend trip and didn't want to bring my whole paint kit to paint my Crimson Fist Reivers so I bought this set of AK Paint Markers. I love how they're skirting the GW trademark. We all know what this character is supposed to be. 1/

Currently painting Dark Krakens and putting lots of tidal pools on their bases to represent their ocean homeworld. I know that tidal pools don't really look like that. But water effect gel is pretty and fun to use and it's just an excuse to do so.

I am not having a good time building this model. A model this chonky should not be this fiddly. I'm about to the point of wanting to find whoever designed it and show them what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps.

Final 2 members of the Death Company squad are complete. They stand ready with bolt rifles, a grenade launcher, thunder hammer, chainsaws, and other hardware you would logically hand out to malfunctioning super soldiers trapped in an endless PTSD flashback of someone else's agonizing final moments.
