and now all of that work is gone because his account is deactivated. maybe ("de")centralising stuff like this on a user account was a bad idea?

@mattrodda.bsky.social, given that you voted for this legislation, could you please defend your position on why this critical resource to help survivors of sexual assault is being blocked for minors? #ukosa

also add "teenage rape survivor unable to get help for their grief" to the list of people who will be harmed/die, i guess.

not like any teenagers have killed themselves over a traumatic sexual assault involving photos of themselves.

nb: the posts are visible in the 1st screenshot due to the 2nd being taken first, as the subreddit fails to show at all on a 🇬🇧 connection without first connecting to a vpn to cache it.

if there are any other brits who haven't yet attempted to access this sub with a vpn, could you?

also that last one can apply to straight people too! fetishisation of trans folk (specifically women) is prominent in cishet male spaces. how do you think these people will react with their preferences in pornography be leaked to their entire contact list?

consider the closeted gay who now has to deal with those "i hacked your webcam" blackemails not only be real, but be tied to their face. you think they won't consider taking their own life?

consider the closeted trans kid who is too scared to come out to their homophobic parents. with "nsfw" (a vague and overly broad term) content being blocked, they may never be able to access gender affirming communities who can help explain their feelings
