There is no choice but to keep going

Just finished this last night. Thank you for introducing me to a fascinating read that I would never have stumbled across.

Why have we continued to rely on US and failed to creat our own European forces? Yes Brexit has happened but that does not mean we cannot cooperate with our allies and neighbours to protect our values. The money is an issue but must be found. Why does it take a lecture from Vance to motivate us?

Perhaps that is his intention?
