Transforming thermal generation by hybridizing with thermal energy storage to provide flexible, low-carbon support for renewable energy.
The best call of the game. Greg needs to be ready for his transplant.

Kind of like Wagner Group?

Couldn't "consumer spending" be distorted by the cost of yachts, jets, and mansions, particularly those with foreign sources that are subject to tariffs or a weaker dollar, or both.

Great sweater. Good to see you routing the nattering nabobs of negativity.

Doubtful, imo. Collaborators will not even have their heads shaved, but will create a new myth of the confederacy, about how well everyone was treated. More likely to result in a dictatorship that takes decades to overcome. BTW the Oscar winning "I'm Still Here" shows what to expect.

What's the heat transfer fluid? What are typical makeup requirements and are they due to evaporation at the surface, or leaks?

There are many types of scaling beyond Wright's Law" Geometric (2x the diameter/cost, 4x the energy). Functional (shrink the feature size to increase # of transistors on a wafer) Network (# users). Software (duplication at low/zero marginal cost). Bulk (reservoir storage instead of cellular)

I doubt I would be able to understand you.

And the other half doesn't consider him a friend.

generation is transmitted to serve load, and with low CF generation, the transmission becomes both congested and underutilitized. Your view of planning is naive.
December 4, 2025 at 11:31 PM
And transmission has been added for low capacity factor generation, which can't utilize the transmission capacity around the clock.
December 4, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Isn't the poor grid utilization partly because we now favor low capacity factor assets, eg. solarPV backed by gas peaker and battery? To improve asset utilization, I favor hybrid integration of thermal storage with gas plants to lower GHG emissions by low-cost, long-duration storage

I was disgusted by the patrons in the Palo Alto Starbucks yesterday. No pickets on the street.

Yes, for example at an appliance plugged into an intermediate receptacle.

The NEC was not intended for the BS application, so we need to find a way to do it safely. The utility interconnect is a minor thing; the electrical and fire safety must be considered. My Mom remembered the 1937 New London explosion and wouldn't live with gas. We don't want that with BS.
December 4, 2025 at 2:25 AM
That's self-evident just from the relative number of each, but also irrelevant to protecting life and safety.
December 4, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Ground fault is not the only possible failure. I do not know VDE, but my understanding is that ONLY the outdoor receptacle can be on the branch circuit in Germany. NEC's flexibility (multiple receptables on the ckt) makes overload protection a challenge. We need to wait for NFPA to update NEC.
December 4, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Utah exempts BS from the electrical code, which prohibits pv installation via a plug into a branch circuit receptacle. Not sure what the fire insurance Will think of it
December 3, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Different standards for branch circuits and for outdoor receptacles make it feasible in Germany.

The implications of the study are far broader IMO. The Elkhorn slough had a known baseline, so deposition of pollutants could be determined and be a proxy for farm fields, school yards, and backyards, even though the dilution and transport is different in the slough's marine ecosystem.
December 3, 2025 at 9:07 PM
BS is not permitted for good fire and electrical reasons. It is irresponsible to promote this and legalization does not make it right. If you want BS, support NFPA in modifying the NEC so it is safe to do, which may require an electrician to modify the branch circuit.

I regret not studying your CV. I look forward to reading your analysis and peer reviewed paper dispelling my concerns about this environmental pollution.

The Salinas Valley which was contaminated by this accident is a source of a great deal of food. Residents were exposed to and inhaled this pollution. And the Elkhorn Slough and Monterey Bay are ecologically important. I get that you don't g a s.
