P3 are learning about rounding in maths, through play. We are able to recognise when to round up and when to round down. Ask us how we got on playing with our learning partner.

Primary 3 enjoyed an exciting bike session focused on balance and pedalling, using their energy to power a blender and make their own smoothies – which were a big hit! 🚲🥤

This morning, P1s had lots of fun at their bike session.
We enjoyed using the balance bike to improve our balance skills. After that, we improved our strength by cycling a lot on the spot to make a smoothie! 🍓🍌🍊

P5 asked for the reading cafe we had done before in P4. Pupil voice listened to and acted upon today! We created comfy spaces in the playroom to read and enjoyed hot chocolate, biscuits and a blether!

Today, P1s learned about money. We talked about different coins up to £2 and listened to song about them. Then, we played a game to identify some coins!

Exploring probability in P5 maths today with a dice roll investigation activity. We had to make predictions and create a tally chart. We had such fun. Ask us what we learned through our dice game.

We celebrated World Children’s Day today by wearing blue and launching our OUTRIGHT campaign. The Rights Respecting steering group led an introduction to the campaign. This was followed up with joining a live lesson from UNICEF. We look forward to learning more as we embark on this journey!

P3 started their Book Week Scotland celebrations this morning with a visit to the library. They enjoyed choosing different books to read, listening to stories and completing quizzes linked to Book Week.

P5 kicked off Scottish Book work with an author visit. She spoke about the process of writing and publishing a book. She answered lots of our questions about how she comes up with her ideas, characters and settings. This will help us with our narrative focus in our writing lessons!
