P3’s last full day before the holidays! A STEM challenge, to create something to get the elf safely down from the shelf! We designed a zip slide, a chute and a regular slide. What great creativity and teamwork! Then a movie treat to get comfy and chill out!

Primary 3 enjoyed an exciting bike session focused on balance and pedalling, using their energy to power a blender and make their own smoothies – which were a big hit! 🚲🥤

This morning, P1s had lots of fun at their bike session.
We enjoyed using the balance bike to improve our balance skills. After that, we improved our strength by cycling a lot on the spot to make a smoothie! 🍓🍌🍊

P5 asked for the reading cafe we had done before in P4. Pupil voice listened to and acted upon today! We created comfy spaces in the playroom to read and enjoyed hot chocolate, biscuits and a blether!

Today P1s did their solo talks on something that is important to them. For the last couple of weeks we have been preparing for this.
They were all absolutely amazing. They spoke with confidence, listened to each other and asked great questions!

Today, P1s learned about money. We talked about different coins up to £2 and listened to song about them. Then, we played a game to identify some coins!

We celebrated World Children’s Day today by wearing blue and launching our OUTRIGHT campaign. The Rights Respecting steering group led an introduction to the campaign. This was followed up with joining a live lesson from UNICEF. We look forward to learning more as we embark on this journey!
